Our experience in Tanzania was simply spectacular. Our trip up Kilimanjaro was far more beautiful and rewarding than I ever could have imagined. The ever changing scenery gave us new surprises each day. Watching the sun set over the clouds lit up in every shade of orange was breathtaking, and seeing the bright stars and moon illuminate the glaciers above us at the peak was truly moving.
Our guides were world class! They enhanced our experience in every way imaginable. Their knowledge of the mountain and country was remarkable. We all learned so much on our trek up. As I mentioned before, Deo was amazing. My son peppered him with questions about all things Africa and he answered them all with remarkable depth and a terrific sense of humor. He is very bright, very responsible, and a lot of fun. His customer service is so good you don’t realize that you are a customer. He would make an exceptional lead guide.
