THE SENSE OF COMMUNITY WAS UNDENIABLE
Traveling by myself was a little daunting at first but I felt like the lead guides and porters took me under their wing and made me their honorary sister. Having come from a small family this was amazing!
While climbing, or just hanging out at camp, I spoke with many of them and learned a lot about their culture and way of life. It was so interesting to me how even though the way we live was so vastly different we still shared similar core beliefs. The sense of community was undeniable and a joy to experience.
