WE LOVED OUR PORTERS!
We LOVED our porters! Our waiter, Paul, was absolutely crucial to our success. He would say “Guys, eat as MUCH as you can” and he would always tell us how great we were doing. Seriously, next to Bwenje and Lyoshi, Paul was our greatest support. It was so funny how, in camp, Bwenje and the others would just holler “Paolo!” and Paul would appear. He had the not-fun job of waking us every morning, and each day brought us “water for wash”.
