I had many reasons for deciding to trek Mt Kilimanjaro, aside from being coaxed into joining my friend! I was both excited and nervous about the trek, but I had heard great things about Thomson from a colleague so I felt fairly confident that we had made a good choice. However, my experience far exceeded my expectations.
What I found was an amazing, kind, genuine, hard-working group of people who by the end of the trek, I felt like I could call friends. I felt completely safe and well cared for. I never felt concerned for my health or safety, and our comfort was clearly a top priority. I cannot think of a single thing that I would change about my trip. It was a life-changing experience and I am thankful to all the Thomson staff that helped make it a monumental success!
