Everyone involved — from porters to the head guide – helped make ours an extraordinary adventure; and John and I are incredibly grateful. Our cook (chef, rather!) Felisiani August kept us fueled with delicious meals and more than one of us wished we could take him home! David Mtui, our waiter did so much more than his title suggested. He kept us on schedule and was attentive to even the slightest need, waking us with coffee each morning and sending us to bed with the luxury of a hot water bottle.
Everyone affiliated with Thomson has really been exceptional to work with and our amazing trip was a direct result of the company wonderful employees. We were well cared for, kept safe, motivated, educated, and made many new friends along the way! We loved every minute, even the hard parts. Guides were present at all times making us feel very safe and comfortable. They were so awesome! The cooks did an amazing job with the quantity and variety of food. I was so impressed—all delicious! I am so sad to leave and want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart. The guides and porters are incredible and I will miss them dearly. Everything was run so smoothly.
