WE COULD NOT HAVE SUMMITTED WITHOUT YOU!
Here are our wonderful porters, Ali and Paulo, who always greeted us with a smile and helpful hand. They started our day with a friendly wake up and warm mug of coffee, took care of camp breakdown and set up, and were always keeping a watchful eye on our health and well being. Last and most important, their strength to carry our gear all the way to base camp with freezing temperatures and Kibo’s altitude was amazing.
So to Ali and Paulo, we send immense thanks during appreciation week. We could not have summitted without you!
