I doubt the trek would have ended as it did if it were not for the strength and energy of these guys; each putting one of my arms over their shoulder to get me down. Leader, Abel did so as well. Thanks guys!!!!
The person I want to heartily thank for getting me to the summit is Calvin. He belted out songs all the way up the mountain, putting our names within the songs to re-jumpstart out hearts on that icy ascent. He was so funny. Sometimes you could hear him giggling into the night and that made our hearts warm.
What a crew I tell you.
Thank you all of you awesome porters. You have no idea how your strength, respect and dedication have made our journey [or repeat journey of a lifetime] something we will never forget!
